Mussels in White Wine and Tomato Sauce With Pasta

Hello everyone, this is my very first cooking blog post, which is a very easy and fun recipe that I made. Hope ya enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • -Mussels
  • -Pasta
  • -White Wine
  • -Garlic
  • -Oregano
  • -Parsley
  • -Tomato Sauce
  • -Salt

First step is cleaning the mussels and let them run dry until we prepare the rest of the meal.

For the sauce, we stewed the garlic for a couple of minutes, before adding the tomato sauce. We stirred them for approximately 10 minutes, then we carried on by pouring a glass of white wine. Quick tip: keep stirring until the sauce is more creamy than watery in the pan.

Add salt to your liking, and for more flavor add some oregano. Pour the mussels in the sauce, and keep stirring for 5 minutes. To make sure they are cooked, taste the mussels. While you let them sink in, carry on with the pasta, which you only need to boil for 10-15 minutes.

Add some parsley at the end to make the mussels more tasty. In the plate, arrange the pasta and mussels as you desire.

They can be served with a glass of white wine, and trust me, it will taste delicious!!
