Hello everyone! Before I delve into my review, I just wanted to apologize for not having written on my blog in so long! Life kind of got a little busier than I had expected, but hopefully, everything will come to normal soon! ❤
I thought about writing this post on the Maybelline Color Sensation lipstick that I am currently owning, 642 Latte Beige, because it has become my obsession in the past few days since I got it.
This is my first brownish lipstick, and even though I thought I would never make a shade like this work for myself, I am constantly reaching out for it as a very wearable everyday color. And it is not just the shade, but the consistency as well. It is super creamy and moisturizing on the lips; at times, I don’t feel like I am wearing lipstick at all, but more like a balm. Bear in mind that this is not the matte version, but the glossy one, so the finish is very nice and, well, glossy.
As I am really bad with describing scents, I can only tell you that it smells very nice, very sweet, and it is definitely not an overpowering scent.
All in all, I am not surprised that everyone considers Maybelline lipsticks as the best from the drugstore. I cannot wait to try out more shades, and even more so from the matte collection,since I am really into matte lipsticks at the moment.

Ohhhh!!! The Maybelline color sensation lipsticks! I bought mine a few months ago and I really love it! The texture is really awesome, and as you’ve mentioned, it is a really moisturising lipstick, which is a real win-win! 😀 I have the 906 Hot Plum colour, a really nice dark pink shade. I am not a big fan of pink lipsticks, but this one made me fall in love with pink. :)))
I like how Latte Beige suits you. I can’t wait to try more colours from this series. 😀 Not sure if I’ll pick up the matte ones, but nevetheless, I’ll have a wide range to choose from. Hugs~~ ^_^
